Mika's husband, Shingo, tries to intervene to stop a marital dispute between his boss and his wife, but accidentally kills his wife. The incident is treated as an accident and no charges are filed, but the couple are tormented by a deep sense of guilt. One day, Mika receives a phone call from her boss. "I want you to take my wife's place"... Those words begin to quietly shake Mika's heart.
