Masakichi, the father-in-law who lost his wife, offered to live with the newly-married Maki and his wife. Her husband, Hiroshi, was opposed to living with his father, who was playing around without looking after his family, but he was pushed by Maki, who had lost his father when he was young, and started living with him. One night, Masakichi gently reminded Maki who was about to go home after a couple quarrel. Masakichi's attitude changes suddenly toward Maki who is spoiled.
